Marvin Brown of Ogallala got me started carving about 8 years ago, and now I belong to 3 carving clubs. One in Ogallala, one in North Platte & the one in Omaha. I go to Doane College for a week of carving school every year since I retired. There are around 300 to 325 carvers there. You have to belong to the Omaha club to go to Doane. That is why I belong to it. There are several different types of carving & I like to try them all. It is very relaxing & a good stress reliever.
