The Meadowlark Gallery first opened its doors in July of 2004 after moving in to the old Hastings Building in downtown Grant, Nebraska.The Gallery is operated by the Perkins County Area Arts Council, to celebrate the artistry of southwest Nebraska and beyond. If you have art you would like to display or sell, whether you've created it or collected it, we would love to see it!To become a member of Meadowlark Gallery, an artist must be a Midwest artist, and submit a portfolio of works that will be judged by current members. High quality and original works are the main criteria. Non-artists who are interested in helping show our local art are welcome, annual membership is $50 per year. webmiesterCome in during regular hours of the Gallery 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. The person on staff will provide you with a document package to complete and return to us with the your art. Or you may download the forms from this website. The items will have to be approved for display by our display committee (we will avoid displaying any potentially offensive material and we need to plan on space available). If approved, we will want to display the items for a period of 30 to 90 days.If the paperwork isn't complete and accompanying your work, we won't be able to accept the work because we wouldn't want it to go missing or be incorrectly priced because of incomplete or misplaced documentation. Forms and instructions may also be downloaded from our website in either PDF or MS-WORD format.
